Joseph W. Johll, O.D.

Dr. Joseph W. Johll recieved his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. He completed an externship in primary care optometry at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hyde Park. He earned his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Nursing from Viterbo College in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.
Following undergraduate school, he served as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Air Force as a Registered Nurse, with extensive training in Intensive Care and later, Emergency Care nursing, which was a primary area of interest.
Prior to beginning private optometric practive in Winterset in November, 2006, Dr. Johll worked for Wolfe Eye Clinic in Southeastern Iowa from 1996 to 2006.
Dr. Johll is a member of the Iowa Optometric Association and Contact Lens Section. He is also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Rotary, and the Lion's Club.
Outside of work, Dr. Johll enjoys spending time with his wife and seven children.
